My new DD
My new DD
After looking for quite a while I was able to pick up my Civic today. I dont have any big plans other then new rear, front bumper covers, and a good detail.
Heres a few pics.

Now the question, should I stay wingless?.......

Or put the wing back on?...........

And a few bad spots on the car.

Re: My new DD
Damn, how can such a new car get into such bad condition so fast? I thought it would take many years longer for that kind of rust to eat away so much metal. Regardless though, a new hood and a fixed fender should make it look much better. I'm not a big fan of wings, so I say leave it off.

Re: My new DD
Thanks everyone for the welcome. I fully detailed the car today. removed the front seats. washed the whole inside down, scrubbed the carpet and seats, and shinned everything back up. Looks like a brand new car now.
next weekend I'll takle a three step tmt for the outside.
Re: My new DD
I cleaned the engine bay tonight. There was so much gunked oil all over the engine. Two bottles of Simple Clean and took for the most part of all the gunk away. This will make it easier for the work I have ahead of me this weekend.

Re: My new DD
WIth the amount of rust on the hood and various bolts under the hood, it's almost like the previous owner dipped the nose into the ocean a couple times
Otherwise, a great looking Civic! Mines a daily driver too, but I'm looking to go crazy with the mods anyways.
