Ive been on this site 4 days after I picked up my civic, back in november '10. I drive a 2001 Honda Civic Lx with too many mods to list. Bought it off of craigslist for a cheap $2000 and 88,000 miles. All struts were blown, had no rear bumper, and the rear part of the exhaust was hanging down. This was going to be my project car.
MODS:
Custom Short Ram Air Intake Piping
Spectre Blue Air Filter
EX Aftermarket 4-1 Exhaust Headers (No Name)
Cherrybomb 2 1/4 Inch Glasspack
2 1/4 Inch Piping Custom Dual Exhaust
Cat Delete
Enkei 17" Rims (CDR9)
Kumho Ecsta 215/40r/17 (Front)
Riken Raptor 215/45zr/17 (Rear)
Moroso Hood Pins
Fiberglass Hood
Poly-Urethane Xenon Front Body Kit
PFRP Composite AIT REV Rear Body Kit
Z3 Style Fiberglass Fenders
Plasmaglow Blue LED Underglow Kit (W/Optx Music Interface)
TYC Headlights
Matrix Carbon Fiber Tail Lights
K6 Style Side Mirrors
Custom Gunmetal Dark Grey Paint Job
Type S Blue LED Shift ****
AC AutoTechnic Indiglo Overlay Gauges
Diamond Hatch Floor Mats (Steel)
Sony Xplod CDX-F7700
Dual 100 Watt (Front)
Dual 120 Watt (Rear)
Heres what she looked like when I brought her home
Carbon Fiber hood ^_^
TYC Headlights and a Xenon front bumper
Custom diamond hatch steel floor mats
And Pedals!
Just your standard sri and 4-1 headers
AC Autotechnic indiglo gauges. Got all those annoying lines out
Dual fart can exhaust .... + 10 Whp
And heres various shots over the past year
Cleaned up the intake pipe a little and replaced the filter
Ground control lowering kit... on stock struts. The previous owner was a dumbass. I replaced them with stock struts because I hated bottoming out all the time
Yes, rice. The ladies like the neon though full leds from plasmaglow
The day I got my rear bumper in! AIT REV
Car came with no torsion bars, so I had to install trunk struts. Very nice
Full exhaust system. Catalytic converters are for hippies! aha jk im glad I dont have emissions by me

you remind me of my younger ricer days.....hahahahh ricer ftw.
car looking much better tho.
one thing to note, ur passenger side rotor.... the drills/slots are going the wrong way. (this is common in most generic ebay/cheap rotors)
also, drilling+slotting (mostly drilling) rotors will significantly decrease your surface area on the rotor that the pad makes contact.... resulting is a LOWER/DECREASE in braking performance.
we already suffer from a small *** rotor, no need to handicap it some more.
just something to consider.

Tipnitty - car is just supposed to be a fun job. I'm young and I gotta explore my ricer self lol. Most of the pictures are what the car looked like when I bought it, I'm gettin the paint redone and gonna try to make it really clean.
Sl33pyricboi - rotors came on when I bought it, I could just switch the rotors on the opposite sides right? Lol but I'm replacing them to stock as soon as spring rolls around

I didn't know much about Hondas when I bought this car. If I would've had the knowledge I have now I would've got a 6th gen hatch stock and then swap a b series into it. That's my dream honda

do you mean their big brake kit or OEM size rotor replacement?
your drive side rotor will be going in the correct direction, while ur passenger side is not (you cannot switch them, and even if you do, one will be the right direction and one will be the wrong direction)
example: WRONG DIRECTION
if you buy high quality proper rotors, the left will be different from the right
example:

I just went and looked at my rotors and I was shocked to find they are not both made in the same direction. Looks like the stupid previous owner just installed them on the wrong sides LMAO! XD

then you get:
see? simple, clean...most these cars just have a dorp and a nice set of shoes...(some with a basic lip kit)
but if you INSIST in rice'ing your car out.... at least do it with a little taste

i don't think it looks that bad. i think it's actually missing some peices in the body kit. the ront end looks so big because it's lower then the sides of the car and it has that large opening for the radiator. if you put side skirts on it would even out the lower looking frontend. plus you might want to try adding a black plastic mesh to fill in the radiator slot, in the front grille, so it looks finished. i duno its your's have fun! my car is rice as rice but i love her that way =D.

Lmao you guys are hilarious. And sleepy, I was talking about these bad boys:
http://www.autoanything.com/brakes/61A2861A0A0.aspx
With rsx master cylinder upgrade also. I really like these brakes I'm thinking about these in the future when it's k time. Rather some blingage than oem rsx stuff yano? but are these legit?

they are 4 piston calipers with huge rotors. however, they are ultra ultra ultra expensive. if u have the money, go for it. if not, i would suggest getting some wilwoods or something. WW are better bang for the buck imo.
if u get a bigbrakekit (BBK) you might want to consider doing a REAR DISC conversion.
why? because you will have SO MUCH STOPPING POWER in front that you car will take a severe nose dip every time u brake hard.
to be honest, if u are looking at stopping power, stock rotors with good pads and some stainless steal lines are WAY more than enough (even on the track)
you can take it a step further and get a rear disc conversion to increase braking power (and looks)
we are getting REALLY offtopic/thread jacking here tho. we can discuss this on another thread if u wish.

Johnny Tran stole my S2000 that I had over $100K in mods.

^ Anything named Gran Turismo sounds good.lolol. @ OP The old sheet metal on the floor of your driver and passenger seats made it look like a NASCAR

Well no my bad what I meant to say is when I k swap I will also be doing type s knuckles & axles but instead of type s rotors and calipers I'd rather some legit brembos. They have calipers in various sizes to get the size you need for the rears also. Could go for the cheaper slotted ones but the drilled ones are sickkkk. Jus makin sure those werent the blanks I hear about.

well lets see... im working on wiring in leds and lighting up the needles on my gauges. Next is getting my door panels on because of replacing the speakers and doing some door actuator work.
Then I gotta start doing hella bodywork. Gotta get sideskirts, (anyone know if 5th or 6th gen 2 door skirts would work?) redo the hood, and then get the parts I was working on painted. Then im probably gonna pick a week and refinish my rims to look brand new.
Future projections:
Sell this and get my uncles black 97 hatchback and B swap or stick with this and do a k swap

Update:
Figured since I got my steels on for the winter, why not clean up my rims? I bought these a little after I bought my car. Enkei 17" CDR9, 6 rims, 4 tires. Kumho Ecsta 215/40r/17 and Riken Raptor 215/45zr/17. $375 with good tread and decent curb rash.
I started by cleaning up the center caps. Those are expensive online! How do you think it looks?
I don't know how to clean the center gold piece though. Looks like oxidation took its toll and when I wet sanded it with 2000 it took the gold color right off. Any suggestions?
Here's my rim that I'm working on
And here's my bumper during fiberglass work
