I just used a gloss red, and I didnt even clear coat it, which would probably be a good idea, but i wasnt down with 10 more bucks for that.

LEDs are friggin amazing. lol.. ive always liked em. and now, im gonna get more of em. haha.. i cant wait to get the ones for the dome lights and what-not. ive thought about even puttin a little strip in my glove box, but i dont know how i would do that. i'd need a switch and other stuff and iiii dunno if im that advanced in LED 101 yet. lol

and cool, ill go pick some of that paint up too to do this.. i dont like it big and bulky how it sits right now. of course.. if i had more money, i'd just get a new header all together. lol buttttt for now, paint will do

did you get the 500 degrees or the 1000 degrees paint? i think i remember seeing those at autozone.. i might re-paint my valve cover to the prettier metallic blue paint i saw there. and hopefully if its engine enamel paint, i can use that for painting this piece we're talkin about too.. the blue i have now is a taaad to bright lol..

and also, is this thing a pain in the butt to get off? this header cover piece or whatever? dunno if i can do it or not

OK, so today i went at the hubs caps. yes, unfortunately i currently cannot afford rims so here we are getting creative!

here's some pics, lemme know what you guys think! These were the stock silver hubs that came with the car way back in 2002> they were in rough shape, with curb rash, and paint flaking off all the edges. I gave them an intense sanding, and a black paint job. After painting them black, i taped off the Honda logo in the middle of the cap, and using VASELINE edged the outside to be more accurate. Painted the logo silver, removed tape, wiped off painted vaseline, and thus we have painted hub caps!

Plans for the car:

- install the new suspension when it comes in
- New headlights (passenger side is cracked and fills with water)
- RIMS (when i can afford)
- Body Job (also when i can afford)

Those hub caps look great... What paint and paint code did you use and is it a flat black? Also what year are those hub caps off of?

I did those hubs with regular plastic paint. They came out great and really like them. They are stock with my car (2002) they have never spent day off that car. Which is why they were in such rough shape before.

Thank you, I really appreciate that. They took a lot more work then I bargained for, but came out just how I wanted them.
