Rep Power: 187 Fogs installed! (Pics inside)
Hey everyone, I got my fogs in the other day and I installed them without a hitch thanks to the DIY's on here and other forums. I decided to go with clear lenses and I put Nokya yellow bulbs in so it's the best of both worlds. Clear and clean when off, yellow when on.
I had some extra time today after washing the car, so I decided to take the Civic and my Nikon D60 out for a quick shoot.

Thanks man! The crispness can be attributed to my D60 and my new speedlight that allows me to bounce and diffuse the lighting. I have a few more of my D60 shots in another thread. You can check them out at https://www.civicforums.com/forums/4...age-3-a-2.html if you want.

Those look awesome.
I've always wanted to install fogs on my 7th gen but I'm afraid of screwing up while cutting the holes in the bumper, and the wiring (the fogs + the switch in the dash).
Maybe I'm just paranoid.

I was pretty nervous myself when I went to install them. Cutting into your bumper/grill is pretty scary because once you start, you're committed lol.
However, it was very easy to do. Cut out the pre-marked tabs on your car, install the mounting hardware, and route the pre-made wiring harness from your battery to the lights. The kit comes with the switch for the dash and to get the wires from your engine bay to the inside switch, there's a removable plug on your firewall that you can fish the wire through. There are plenty of DIY's around that give you step by step instructions as well as pictures to guide you along.
I must say, installing these fogs is the best thing I've done to my car. They look good, but are also really useful when driving. They lay down a super wide, low beam and help your night time vision a lot.
Do it! lol

Knowing me, I'd get it apart and wouldn't be able to get it back together.

To be quite honest though, I'm not a huge fan of the blacked out headlights. If anything I'd go with the gunmetal CTR style. But I'm actually pretty happy with the stock ones for now.
