Here it is with old 17's...
And with the new 17's...
Plans are a few body mods and new paint. No definate color picked out yet, may stay with a blue.
adding a poll to see which look you guys think is better, old wheels or new ones?

i agree that the 2nd ones look much bigger than 17s, which isnt really a bad thing, but overall, with the car how it is now, i like the first ones better.

Right now the plan is to shave the awful black plastic the body moulding, antenna, rear handles, hood squirters, emblem holes, and the stock plastic tag box and weld in a new metal tag box in the trunk lid. Other than that, it needs new front and rear bumpers and a little body work on some small dings from hail and what not. Hopefully I can be laying down fresh paint on it soon, if not it'll wait til the end of summer. Basically going for a clean, simple look...I think the multi-spokes kinda added clutter to it.
The new wheels do look bigger, no lip and the different pic angles add to that illusion I think...they are .5" wider than the old ones though. I'm not even sure how much it is lowered or what kind of springs are on it...it was already lowered with those old wheels on it...but it doesn't ride too bad so I'm not worried about it.

Call me crazy but I like the old wheels better, new ones look a little too big even with the drop IMO
Still if you like the new ones they look good too, why do you want it repainted? Looks pretty good from the pics.

The pics are pretty decieving, clear is peeling in spots, and there are quite a few small dings all over it...plus with it needing new bumpers they'd have to be painted so might as well paint the whole car while I'm at it.
