So I installed pink HIDS in my friends accord and it didnt look too bad. I'm scared to get HIDS for my fog lights. I have replaced my fogs about 3 times in 2 years. All from debris hitting them and cracking them. OR the bulbs getting blown from **** hitting them.
I still would like to get HIDS but I'm just scared the bulb wont last.
Can you confirm this?
Also is your fogs clear, yellow or what?
I have had yellow fogs and are sick of them, I wanted to get 8k for the fogs to match the headlights but yeah Scared they will blow up lol

yeah fogs are tricky and yes the hid bulb could explode if a big enough rock smashes the lens.

Thanks for all the comments...
I have made the mistake and my first set of fogs were the ebay fogs which are a plastic lens and a poor excuse for fogs. I replaced them with my current setup the OEM fog house which is glass and clear.
Yellow is played out in my opinion thats why I ditched them.
As far as color temp my head lights are 8000k and my fogs are 25000k. I don't remember the brand name just kno they came with an 18 month warranty which a warranty on HIDs is a must.

Love the look, I've got HID's in my ebay fogs, never worry because i replaced the cheap fog lens' with lexan from home depot. The cheap lens' cracked in a week, lexan doesnt have signs of even scratches and its been months since i did the change. Highly suggest doing this change, no change in light output, and you never have to worry about stones breaking your light or lens.

I kinda liked the yellow also, but I think that with 4300k both top and bottom and you'd have a whole lot nicer output! 25000k is nuts...I didn't even know they sold bulbs that high. The output must suuuuck, haha...good thing you don't have those in your headlights.
