Well here's the deal... i'm planning on swapping in rear disc brakes from an 01-05 Acura EL but i'm still thinking of getting a k engine in my car... either straight k20 or a frankenstein swap which will make it possible for me to get the 5 bolt pattern... my dilemma is if i do get the rear disc brakes from an 01-05 Acura EL and i eventually go with the kswap... will i need to swap it into the 5 bolt pattern or is my bolt patterns still good after a k swap? cause i mean i don't want to be buying a whole complete rear brake swap for my car and end up swapping it for a different bolt pattern... PLEASE HELP!!!!

its either 4 lug or 5 lug. what i mean is, if u get the el swap, its 4 lug. if u get a k, u dont have to go 5 lug. if u want to go 5 lug, ull have to use rsx front hubs and rear swap, so u tel me

other than the number of the bolts? the the having a 5 bolt make a different? i read at one point people we're argueing about having 5 bolts makes it heavy?

what hes saying is you can get a kswap and keep the factory 4 lug wheels. you dont have to swap to 5 lug just because you have a kswap altho some people do.

5 lug makes it heavy.... ?? I dont think there is much of anything behind that argument. Many .5 grams of weight difference... if anything.

yeahhhh idk about that 5 lug heavier thing. lol. but in any case this question doesnt make sense lol. YOU can choose whether you want to be 5 lug or 4 lug. you can kswap with your stock front hubs... anyways i think this whole lug thing is a big hype..
for example: "ohhhh **** see that 5 lug civic? that is jdm!" and the only difference is a stupid wheel stud. lol k bye.
