She is Finally done!
after 2 months of hard work and only 250$ for parts the 98 civic ex is done. this is my first car. bought it totaled at a local salvage action in denver for 1800$ 35k miles. here she is

and to getting to look like a civic again first replaces the suspension next was giving it nice tug on the frame rack to get it nice and straight again. then had to replace the fender apron. headlights. actually fixes the front bumper. but when the car was hit it swung around and smacked the quarter panel so had to fix that. all in all it was totally worth it!

Man, I have a dent from the gas door to the rear tailight on the driver's side where I sideswiped a truck bumper backing up. Local body shop estimate - 1200 bucks. Its encouraging to know that you did this for 250. Did you go to a junkyard for your parts?

nope. my brother actually totaled his 96 ex. so i got to use his apron. rear bumper. powerstearing pump. wind shield wiper fluid resivor and other minor things. but my dad is a body man. so doing this i learned many things.

Very nice! Sounds like that was a steal for you! Good work with the body as well. Did you paint yourself or was your brothers civ silver as well?
