I'll have to drive them and let you know. I just didn't like the rear end of the M3 all that much and honestly didn't even look at Mercedes, maybe in 10 years or so. However I think the IS is more efficient than the others, I averaged 26mpg on my way home from work this week. Not bad considering the beast under the hood.
