I have an 04 ES1 right now. My dad got a new job and doesn't work with my mom anymore and needs a new car. I found this EM2. http://www.autotrader.com/fyc/vdp.js...ice=&cardist=2
I was thinking about giving him my ES1 and taking the Em2. What would yall do?

If you can find a bmw, go for it! But most people are asking alot now on any car with any mileage if it's japanese... especially honda and toyota due to the gas prices. Private sellers are the best way to go and definitely try to lower the price. I bought mine from my dad's old dealership and I know for a fact I over paid even after they were nice and we spent a couple hours just trying to get all the paperwork written out so i would get the lowest price they could possibly go.
I payed over 8k for an 01 em2 with 87k miles back in 2005.

a bimmer with 90k+ miles on it of these later generations is just asking for problems.
and my advice is keep the es1 because it is a superior car to the coupe. and it looks better.

why not just pay 3k more and get a used type S or a newer auto base rsx. The mileage is going to be relatively the same, but the ride and quality will be better.

I would say the price is high for something of that mileage. Especially since its a lower end model.
I sold my 04 ex coupe for $10k with 70k miles on it.
