Re: Type R y0
Not sure about the srs light, I imagine it'd be the same. I just have an srs cuz my driver's airbag is also dc5r single stage and I haven't bothered hooking it up. Not to mention, if I blow the airbag, it's about impossible to replace....
Re: Type R y0
cluster looks great man, usually they don't look that smooth. this motivates me to start looking for one if the bezel was as easy to mod as you say.
Re: Type R y0
In regards to the airbag replacement, isn't it the same module as an AP1, pre-06 AP2, early EP3, or early DC5? So really the only difference would be the fact that's it's a Type-R badge, right?

Re: Type R y0
Nope, there is no type r badge on the steering wheel, just the word momo impressioned into it. But the Honda emblem is red unlike any of the others.
Re: Type R y0
Yeah, red H is what I meant by Type-R.
So I can see how that'd be a pain to replace, but it's not like you wouldn't be able to have an airbag. Of course, all this is assuming the car's worth keeping if the airbag deploys.
Best not set it off, in any case.

well then...I hope you're never in a situation that you require your airbags....hell, I stopped for a red light, and got rear-ended...

Re: Type R y0
You know what I did with my annoying SRS light Andy? Took the cluster apart and put a tiny square of electrical tape over the LED. Problem solved. If you can't figure out how to make go away electronically, that's always an option.
Cluster looks really good, I just hate km/h.
