These are some lousy pictures of my 01 lx with a yakima rack, I've not seen many on this site, thought I'd post some pics. I think Rufus showed pics of his with a saris rack.I was inspired. On the yakima you have to buy the extender kit because the roofline curves so abrubtly, it doesnt leave much room for the clamps. Anyway if anyone bikes as much as I do this is a must have and pretty trouble free.

Im a huge Vdub fan, racks r popular on them, Im sure a JDM themed civic, slammed, low offset rims and a rack would look sick

hmmm...looks like you needed the extenders cause there's no room for it to clamp on in the back...i wonder if a sedan would need those too....my thinking would be not, since we've got the rear doors...
i bike usually 3 times a week, and whenever i go out somewhere, away from my house, i just slide the bike on into the trunk/cabin...

I've seen them on the sedans and they don't need the extenders. Find a used setup on craigslist with the towers and crossbars all you have to do is change the clamps. I use two different trays on my road bike I take the front wheel off, the other tray is for my mountain bike, it has the lefty fork so the wheels have to stay on.
