hey guys, i'm not sure if i posted in the correct place, couldnt find another sub forum where this would belong. anyways, i have a 2001 civic coupe lx. i recently did a swap of the center console for the 2005 one, has that fake carbon fiber look it, the arm rest, and i like how it flows nicely from the console to the cup holders to the 12v outlet, nicer design.
now here's the thing, its not a direct swap, requires some custom work to make it fit properly, one of the things that are in the way is the handbrake. its pushing against the console and it wont go up (because of its design). a cheap solution i know which will solve this problem is an ebrake boot. but before i go ahead with it i would like to know if somebody put one in, in their 04-05 civic, and where did you guys get it, pics would be nice
btw, once this is done i'll post pics, i swaped the center panel (where the climate controls and audio system are) to the 2005 too, its the same design, but also has that fake carbon fiber look, to compliment the center console.
