Hey guys,
As some of you guys know, I hit a old cadillac on this past wed. and cracked my whole bumper in half. Now i do not want to pay 600 for a OEM one......I was on ebay and saw this bumper for $150 and it has those marks where someone bumps you with the license plate holder.......you think is this easy fix???

Not an easy fix. Having it fixed and repainted would end up costing you more in time and money. Just get a replica it would be cheaper. Fitment might be an issue with the replica since it's not oem.

If you try that. You can wet sand using 1500 to 2000 grit sand paper and apply minimal pressure. You can also use touch up paint and sand that down.

use the 1000 when you are getting the paint off and smoothing it out, and make sure you use a sanding block. use a damp rag with soaked with paint thinner to clean it before paint or bondo
if it has indentions in the actual polyurethane you can buy a tube of bondo and hardener at autozone/orielly's for 5 bucks to repair it(what i did to my front bumper) sand it down with the 1000 grit again until it blends
then get you a SSM spray can kit from paintscratch. let it dry for an hour or two then clean it with a tack rag(orielly's $.99) in between coats
use the 2000 grit before you clear to smooth any bumps .
you can use 2000 to shave bumps on your clear but not on your final coat.
keep using the tack rag to clean it between, and give the clear a little longer to dry than the paint.
let it all cure over night before you put it back on
