2nd gear problem

2nd gear problem
so my problem is that whenever i shift out of 1st into 2nd at 5k or more sometimes (not all the time) it grinds. i think it has something to do with my syncrhos but what do u gear heads think? should i bring it to a transmission specialist asap or what?

Its a common problem with 01-02. Either have it rebuilt or get one from an 03-05.

new tranny or syncros? and how much do u think it is to replace the syncro's?
