Look at my avatar. My hood is currently black along with my grille. In the spring I would like to change it to a carbon fiber hood with the same TM paint on the sides as I have now. The problem is going to be the grille. The paint job flows well right now because the grille and hood are both black. I would like some opinions on what I should do? Stay black or go cf?

Yeah I thought about the CF grille also but do they make one that is real cf or are only the cf print grilles available?

Yeah I have had the car the way it is for a year now its time for a change. I know they do make the RS grille in a CF but I am thinkin' the jdm mesh grille. Next question should I paint the carbon hood like mine is now or leave it plain?

Leave it plain.
Then when the clear starts to fade, paint the sides and reclear the center. This way you can change the car twice.

Leave it that way, I have my paint that way with the CF and the hood cracked along the top, its ok from a distance but if you get up close you can see it. It was cool have the CF but I'd rather just have a painted hood.

1 year ago, about 4 months after painted (has cracks but not noticable)

ya I had to replace my hood, someone jumped on my original OEM blue one. Put a used OEM black on there, never getting it painted, car looks gangster.
