led's

i am thinking about putting some led's under my blue civic and i just had a question. I have a system that runs to my battery obviously and as i was doing some checking it seems you need to run your led's to your battery is this going to overload my battery with the two power cables both connected to it i just want to know if its going to fry my electrical system help

Re: led's

leds use hardly any power. like less than a 194 bulb in your parking lights. you can have whatever you want connected to the battery. i have about 5 different power wires going in, amp, hvs, ballasts, hood light, etc. go nuts

Re: led's

What are you going to put under there, a prefabed unit or just led strings. Also if you are making it what type of leds are you going to use, becuase it gets very specific. It will not fry anything in system now, but too low of a guage of wire and too many high brightness leds can fry the wire or make leds dim.
