Well fellas I finally dropped my ride.
It's sitting on H&R sport springs 1.3" on OEM struts
SPC camber kit Front and rear.
D-specs next year.
Current mods
HKS axle back exhaust.
17" rims on 215/40 Toyo proxes 4
DC lower strut bar
tinted windows all round
Clear headlights.
Sorry for poor pics I used my cell phone

Nice ride. like the head lights, go well with your car.
i like the rims too, all good. might need some silver door handles tho, imo.

Are those Toyo's? If so they're falsely advertising. Those tires are made at the Toyo plant just up the road from me...

Looks really good Richard! I'm not a big fan of painted calipers, but that little bit of red is nice accent to all the black and silver. Those are some skinny little tires compared to the 225/45s I'm rocking. I think these are the first real pictures I've seen of your car!
The black mirrors flow well with the tint, but I'll agree that the handles need to be silver. They're such a bitch to take off though! I ended up just using zip ties for the inner lock cylinder clips. If anyone has aver taken theirs off, you know what I'm talking about!
Good stuff man!

Thanks for the comments guys.
Door handles might get painted along with mirrors next year
I'm not sure why a huge company like Toyo would make false statements???
I used Zymol, I have found this to be the best of the off the shelf brands.

I know I usually don't like painted calipers unless there on huge racing calipers but yea these came out nice and add just that little bit of flare, and helps break up the whole silver and black theme.
It's funny you mention the zip ties on the lock cylinder clips because I did the same exact thing on my Jeep, worked like a charm

I'm not sure either, but a few friends work there for the moment (everyone I've talked to hates working there) and they make all of their low profile lines that are distributed within the US. Perhaps those were manufactured before the plant here opened a little over a year and a half ago. They're all made at the plant here now though... The folks that work there get their tires a a significant discount versus retail(60-70%). They can only get 10 tires (2.5 sets) a year though.

Must be nice to get 70% off their tires.
So far these have been good tires but I will need new ones next year.

The coil spring compressor is used for, ah well compressing the coil springs during installation. you don't really need them for taking the oem spring off though because there is not much tension on them.
The tie rod separator is used for popping the ball joint that connects your steering linkage to you front struts.
Sometimes you can just hammer it out but mine was in there way to tight and I did not want to risk damaging the threads.
Hope you learned something new

Nice ride, clean and simple. It has class and flows well. I like the headlights also, you paid a lot less than I did, bastard. Also, like everyone else has said paint the handles and mirrors.
I am also still out on the wheels, I just don't know.

these are tools that you need in order to change the oem springs for performance springs.

You're better off just borrowing them from Autozone Travis. For a decent compressor, you're looking at $50-75 and it really varies for the tie rod separator. Did you use a hand-held or air-hammer pickle fork Richard?
But seriously as often as you will use them, it's better just to borrow them.

Tie rod separator was $4.99
As long as they last till next year when I get new struts I'll be happy.
