Well here are some of the pics from the event. Weather for the weekend was great. It was an awesome experience being able to be in the pits and right next to the cars. Also got to do the drift ride along which was pretty intense.

New to the forums, browsing posts for info, but I was at the event to and have to share my pics as well; that drift cop car tore up the barrier and took out the spotter stand!!

Thanks for the comments guys, I gotta get a better lens so I can get some closer pics next time, but the truth is that photography can be as expensive as modding.

Yeah it can add up, get a 200mm lens and at VIR you will be fine; how close we can get to the action is great. Those pics were with a 6mp Canon EOS 300D; I just got it replaced with a 350d with 8mp so they should be better in the future; I plan on going to every spectator event at VIR in 2008 too. Don't spend a lot on camera stuff until you know how EVERYTHING works on it; like modding- know what you got and what is worth getting.


I'll go through my unedited folder and fine more civic pictures that I have, I'm sure there are more.
