Went back to stock front sway...
So the other day I put back on my stock 15.9mm front sway, and took off the 02 25.4mm front sway. I def feel the difference. The car totally understeers so much more with the stock 15.9 and my RSX-S 19mm rear sway. It also took away this knocking noise that was going on, Apparently my front sway was kncoking against my front right LCA and made it sound like I had a blown strut. But as soon as I had swapped the stock one back in, the knocking stopped completely, which made me very happy.
Re: Went back to stock front sway...
I thought a bigger front sway would create more understeer? Or maybe I have understeer and oversteer mixed up. Is understeer when your front wheels don't want to follow the curve, and oversteer when the rear tends to drift out of the projected path?
Re: Went back to stock front sway...
i think of understeer as the front tires plowing straight ahead when turned ( more steering = less actuall steerage) and oversteer when the rear comes around too fast for the steering input

but im an idiot from time to time....

I was thinking about getting a front RSX bar with my Progress rear.. but it sounds as though the front EX bar is best...
