Civic Hybrid Gauges Installed! Question on paint
I just got my hybrid gauges installed. They are for an automatic even though I dont have one but I really dont care all that much. Since the water temp gauge does not work with hybrid gauges I bought a pillar pod with water temp, oil temp, and oil pressure. They light up blue also. The pillar pod that I got was black and I have seagull grey for the color on the plastic pillar pieces. Anybody know of a paint that matches the grey?

who did the wiring? ive had my damn hybrid cluster sitting here for over a year with no one knowing anything about it or how to install it i even went to honda and that was no help..

I installed it. The wires on the hybrid cluster were the same colors as the ones on my 04 EX cluster (the one that lights up red). All I did was match the colors up. there were a few extras left on the hybrid cluster and one white one from the EX cluster. I have no ****in clue what the white wire does. It isnt on any wiring diagrams I have

looks nice, the camera really makes it look bad tho, its actually a dark blue color for the gauge leds.

ya i remember. glad you got em working. and yea alot of body shop will have a color table so take your stock pillar in and see which paint looks the best.

I matched up the diagrams. I have like 6 extra wires on the hybrid cluster. one of them could be the water temp gauge. I ran out of time but I will try to see if I can figure out what they do this weekend. The other ones I am 100% sure are correct.

you dont have a hybrid right... i was just saying cause the colrs could do something different... i dont have a diagram in front of me... but now im currious

I have an 04 2dr EX. I had 2 diff wiring diagrams for both vehicles mine and hybrid. After writing down what each wire did for each car I put the 2 lists together and then connected the wires. From talking to another guy that put in hybrid gauges, his water temp didnt work either. One thing that I do notice is that it tells me I now get 120 MPG!

one of the pics was when you first turn the key so, yes all of them are on. I do have my brake light on and my srs light on though. I need to reset the srs light from my rsx seat install and figure out why the hell my brake light is on. It came on after I changed my pads and painted my calipers. Any ideas?

where would you run the battery meter wire to? straight to the battery or what? im gonna try to get on alldata an see if they have the wiring for my car and the hybrid it pisses me off ive had this thing sitting around for like over a year lol

I am sorry man I forgot to get you that wiring. I will sit down tonight and type it up. The battery from what I can remember goes into the ECU.

I have been messing with all the extra wires and I cant seem to get anything esle to light up except for random warning lights. I do not believe it is possible to get the other gauges to light up with out resoldering some circuits. I will not attempt this task however.

i got the hybrid wiring go into the diy section im trying to figure out how to get it to work in mine.
