I see that's your old hood KC, but I just ordered that same VIS hood a week ago and it's supposed to be here today at the shop, and installed tomorrow morning. I like the carbon look... I've got the M3 CF fenders and had a pair of injected carbon fiber eye lids made. The hood is all I'm lacking to bring it together... Then the dark gray w/ black flake paint job....hehe

Anyhow, do the CF, you'll love it once it's on.

if u get oem style (hood) u prolly pick one up from either brand for like 300

Yeah, i definitely want OEM.. can i get them from VIS or Seibon or 300 or do i have to find it elsewhere? What i REALLY need right now is a trunk.

where do you guys order your CF hood anyways?is it hard it install it in by yourself or with help from a friend and how was fitting wise..

here are your answers to questions...

Q. where to get it?
A. can get it directly from VIS or seibon (i got my old CF hood directly from VIS)

Q. is it expensive?
A. OEM style is always cheaper then different types for ur car.

Q. is it hard to install?
A. hood is easy, just unscrewing 4 bolts, if i can do it you can too, for trunk, i think u gotta put the factor latch to CF one.

cf on nhbp looks awesome IMO...but im not too big of a fan on cf trunks. what u could do...sicne u kinda have the money now.. is paint it, and go for that clean sleeperish look. nobody will know u have it until u pop the trunk n they have a look underneath. u can do that to the hood too. thats just my thoughts...maybe eveyrone thinks its dumb i duno....even if u dont paint it, cf on nhbp looks great liek eveyrone says

if you gonna paint the CF trunk, dont even get it.

people mod exterior to show it, not to hide. if u gonna hide what u have, mind as well just roll around in stock.

people have different taste on certain things. as long as you like it, thats all that matters.

Yeah, i dont understand the painting of carbon fiber parts. I think i've recently decided that i want to get an 07 si in a couple months so i dont know if i will spend the money for the carbon fiber.

^^ no one said u have to get carbon fiber as first mod. u can always start from something small or cheap.
