something like these...yea they are for a d2r, but another base might actually fit iin, seeing as it uses the stock clip to hold the bulb in.

10k is just for looks. 5000 to 8000 is the best. but 5k and 6k being the most light output, 8k has a nice blue to it and still has alot more lumens than halogen.

i beg to differ. 4250k is the best (usually referred to as 4300k) output wise.
that is, if we're talking about an unsupercharged ballast.
Re: New 10000k HID installed!!!!
^^^ if the higher the k, the less out put, then >6k wouldnt blind you. 4300k would blind you more. glare is dependant on the housing/reflection/shield, not the k rating

wow, 10,000K? thats completly unnessicary and completly rediculous. That should not even be allowed on the market. Not sure why you would want those.

With the HID bulbs, the 5k is the closest to 4300 your gonna get, that's why i said 5k is the best. 4300 is standard in BMW's, Mercedes, etc when they are in the projectors.

Re: New 10000k HID installed!!!!
true, but as you go up the scale you lose lumens fast. stock hid bulb is 3200-3400 lumen. as soon as you step to 6000k bulbs, the lumen drops to 2400.
