Thanks man. Yeah, hit us up.
Bottom of first post, new pics. Rear seats are done and I had a new shift boot made from leather with grey stitch.

Nope. I don't want bigger wheels. Biggest I would consider would be 16's but the 15's are ideal for racing.
Re: My Civic's Thread-New Pics 2/28-New Rear Seats and Shift Boot
back seats look awesome andy. so does the shift boot too. good work, you should be ready to win some serious shows in no time.

Re: My Civic's Thread-New Pics 2/28-New Rear Seats and Shift Boot
Thanks a lot, guys. I've sunk some serious money and all around mods trying to even the car out and get it ready. Its still got a little ways to go but with everything that's coming this month, it should finish up just how I want.
Re: My Civic's Thread-New Pics 2/28-New Rear Seats and Shift Boot
i think u should get another set of rims for when u are going to show the car. maybe even get other rims more exclusive or rare ones in 15's.
not knocking just trying to help if u look at most show cars big rims no tires.

Re: My Civic's Thread-New Pics 2/28-New Rear Seats and Shift Boot
I'm showing in mild class, not wild. Lightweight 15's match my setup and the wheels look good.
Engine and tranny are out. I've started cleaning and polishing up some parts. I cleaned and sanded the oxidation out of the tranny and it looks pretty good. Tomorrow I'm sending my exhaust manifold, turbine housing, dump tube and downpipe to jet hot. I will be picking up new axles this week. Also going to TRY and get my head to the machine shop for a bath and possibly a port and polsih and get my old bushings pressed out of the LCA's and the ball joints then get them reinstalled. Lots of work to do....

Just a quick pic. Kinda blurry but you get the point. Needs a little more elbow grease but its coming along nicely.

Front lower control arms are now in with urethane bushings. New rotors are in as well as the new ball joints and tie rod ends. I will probably start prepping the new motor to go in tomorrow.

Re: My Civic's Thread-New Pics 3/8-Valve Cover Polishing Underway
Jay, you have Andy's job. Maybe not the same MOS, but at the very least the same pay grade!
Are you going to do a tuck on the bay and ditch the wire cover Andy? What do you plan on using to clear that cover so it doesn't corrode? Regular clear coat will still corrode on allie. From what I remember, Summit sells a special aluminum clear coat that is guaranteed to not let corrosion through. Good luck with man, polishing that VC takes more patience than I have!

I don't think I'll use any clear on it. I'll just polish it up before shows. Its tough getting the small nooks without a dremel though.

Re: My Civic's Thread-New Pics 3/9-Valve Cover Is Done
Looks nice Andy, good luck keeping her that way! You may want to think about getting it chromed or powder coated. One greasy fingerprint and a boost run and you're whipping out the emery cloth again.
