Re: My TSX HID retro finally finished!!!! Pics inside

i love this retro. i just bought a 2002 BMW 330i (which is why i'm selling the civic) and it has bi-xenon projectors. honestly, the low beam TSX are brighter than the BMW headlights. but having xenon for a high beam.....well.....that just kicks some halogen ***!

Re: My TSX HID retro finally finished!!!! Pics inside

yea those bosch e46 projectors suck *****. the TSX is alot better.

what you could do is throw some 50w ballast into them, and you'd have much better results.

A question though, if you get HID's with the stock projectors on the TYC's is the light decent?? Or should I just stick with stock headlights maybejust get black housing ones?

Re: My TSX HID retro finally finished!!!! Pics inside

no the light is terrible. check over on hidplanet.com and read about using real projectors. you can do tycs or the oem lights. theretrofitsource.com sells some really nice morimoto mini projectors that can mount to the oem lights without any cutting, it just screws into the bulb hole. and its made for hid, not like tyc halogen projector. you could prolly fit the minis into tycs as well. i ended up using audi a4 projectors in my tycs and they fit perfectly. not the brightest, but good enough. theres a thread somewhere here about it.
