Re: My Civic Accident! (Pics, Not 56K friendly!)

Wow! This thread picked up fast!

Well thanks for the support guys! I'm really sad to see this happen to my Civic! Put so much money and work into it! But I'm going to make sure they write that off! And hopefully if everything goes well, I will benefit from this and get my friend's white '04 RSX Type S! I think it's about time for me to move up to something a little better... Also cause my bars will fit the car for sure(if it's not damaged) and my coilovers will fit with new tie-rod ends and bolt...

Hope you feel better though. You can fix a car easier than you can fix your spine!

Take care!
Haha, I was using my Sony Ericsson K750i which is a 2.0MP camera phone...

Re: My Civic Accident! (Pics, Not 56K friendly!)

The phone was actually from Hong Kong... I'm live in Canada, and my service provider's Rogers. It came unlocked... So I could use it with any provider that uses a SIM card...

I think the equivalent(or a bit higher, but exact same camera) of my phone is the Sony Ericsson W810i which I'm sure you guys can get...

Re: My Civic Accident! (Pics, Not 56K friendly!)

Yea... It's totally not worth fixing! So I'm going to make sure to let them know that I do not want that back! Seeing how bad it is!

So hopefully my next ride will be a RSX!

Just depends here in the states on who your provider is. Some are CDMA some are GSM (sim cards). So if i were with a gsm provider i could get any unlocked phone and use it here just like your doing. The beauty of gsm. Sad there are no providers for that around here.

Oh really? That's too bad... Yea, I guess that's the good thing about GSM phones... Cause I have a few unlocked ones, and I'm constantly switching between them...

Re: My Civic Accident! (Pics, Not 56K friendly!) UPDATE!

Here's an Update on my car... It turns out to be a write off... So I'm kinda glad, and kinda sad! But I guess I can move on to something different...

I'm debating between a RSX Type S, S2000, or Honda Fit...

Please don't get a Fit...Ugly things. Go with the S2K if you can afford the Insurance on it.

Yea, i'd love to be able to switch phones when ever the mood strikes w/out having to call up my provider and pay some idiot fee to switch phones.

lol... I actually don't mind it... I went to test drive it the other day, and it actually drives really good! Just a little under powered... But very practical... But you can make it look pretty nice... http://www.aj-racing.com/catalog/pages.php?pageid=111

A S2000 is very nice! I got to drive my friends a few times...

But a RSX Type S would be the most practical and still have power...

Re: My Civic Accident! (Pics, Not 56K friendly!)

How much did they end up giving you for ure 2001 vic anyways if u dont mind me asking, ive been wondering how much i would get for mine (2002) if it were totalled, how long did they take to pay up after the car was pronounced a write off?

if u get it fix, its never gonna drive the same...so i suggest u not try n fix it and get another car if u can.

He's right...if you can, get to the lot where it's stored and jack it up to put the old rims back on it, take your rims and sale them. Once you settle, it all belong to insurance. And, they won't give you anything extra for your custom parts (usually), so it's to your advantage to work out some way to go get them....
Good Luck....
