Well today was my first car accident ever. I was going down a 2 lane road through an intersection, and a car at the other side made a left in front of me. But he/probably she stopped and i swerved around them, and i lost control after a wrongful steering correction. Long story short, i ended up sliding sideways into a curb damaging the suspension crucially.

What worries me however is that the only body damage is some pretty large dents that appeared around the sunroof(note the pictures).

Cosmetically, i doesn't look that bad. But looking at your wheel, seems like the suspension is the only thing that you need to worry bout right now.

yeah, i have a very very strong feeling that the frame is twisted, but theres a bright side..... Allstate really came through for me, I was able to prove that I wasn't at fault for this(true, btw) and they are going to cover the cost of repairs, and........ my rates arent even going to increase, so im not even mad really, but i will be posting the cost from my estimate.

a little update, i foudn the ***** who made me crash, no witness h.o, but i still got my deductible back. the total cost of repair was just 1900, and i made abotu 200 dollars out of the whole ordeal. The dents in the roof were jsut because of the sunroof reacting to chassis flex(hello 4pt roll bar), but yeah, shes coming home next week and recievint tein type flex coilovers, aem v2 intake, and a neuspeed strut tower bar.

none the less, lucky the roof damage was only the sunroof's fault.

^^^ I'm going to say yes. I would put it up on a 2-stage lift. Bring up the main part first (raising the whole car) and then raise the front end with the 2nd stage. Check to make sure both front wheels com off the ground at the same time. If that passenger wheel does anything the driver's side doesn't, then you still have a problem.

sorry to reply so late, to make a correction....repairs were actually 4000, I dont know what the 1900 figure was, and basically i did go find the [removed by rennen] and she was so ugly. But I told her how she made me damage my car, I said that I was speeding a little, but she was still at fault, and it was messed up that she ran, and I called her a [removed by rennen] and said [removed by rennen]. Also yes my lower control arm was dented(?????), but not actually broken

s**t happens man cars can be fixed just be glad your ok. i totaled my 2006 cobalt out when some one ran a redlight ( i have civic too dont wrry) and i was pissed but just move on and forget about it the car will be fixed and take her to court with a lawyer if you want just be glad your ok.

also if you went to her house and said those things she could file claim for harrasment or something other

Ah, know how ya feel. Didn't involve another car but I slid on ice, whipped once controlled it, whipped again and had to watch myself just slowly slide into this big a$$ boulder. it suckkked. glad to see your okay though.
