OK, last round of pictures for a very long time, I promise!
Went on a cruise today with some friends who drive a Subaru WRX, Porsche Boxster and a Honda VFR800 bike. It was a very hot day today but still enjoyable and the high speed spirited driving thru the mountains was an adrenalin rush!

Overall, the Civic performed very well. But of course I got a little left behind on the long straights when the others opened the taps...come on, its a Porsche and a turbocharged WRX...and a 800cc bike! Those things simply hammer.

how well did the civic perform on the turns in comparison? I'm a little curious. I know the civic is out of its class, but you do have the weight advantage and you can power out of turns since your fwd to compensate.
The Civic is not as bad as one may assume in this company. For the most part, I was able to keep up with both cars in the twisties. The bike, of course, left us all for dead!
The bottom line is this cruise was not a race to see who had the fastest car. I knew I had the slowest car in the group and I made no effort to pretend it wasn't. Today was about a bunch of friends who just got together to do something we all mutually enjoy - a spirited drive into the mountains.
