I think it looks pretty tacky too. But here if you have more than 30% all around. Or it has to be less than 50% on the front and whatever you want (even 5%) on back. Nobody really cares, but the cops can be asses if they pull you over. One of my friends had to rip the tint from his front windows before the officer would let him leave. That sucked big time.

I have 20% all around, and I thought it would be darker. When it was first put on, it was perfect shade, and then over the next couple weeks it lightened up to actually be 20%. Oh well.

I've been crunching numbers allnight for my accounting quiz tomorrow afternoon, but these numbers.. I know I couldnt be missing something obvious!! bought 20%, it became lighter to be 20%.

I'm starting to think going really dark isnt that great of an idea- why not go a littlle lighter- that way when your running some technical roads shaded by trees, you dont have to roll your windows down to see around the tight curves.

and what the hell is the point of tinting the front windshield?

What I meant was they put 20% on. But when it was first put on it looked like it was 10%. I thought that that was what 20% actually looked like. Then after it became lighter, I tested it, and it was 19% to 21% all around.

Yep!..and I do think it's tacky... I wanted 5 all the way around but laws!!! And 35% all the way around isn't enough for me! My compromise was having the front half of the car ALL 35 and back half *** 5
At least I tinted the front! 90% of the cars around here are tinted 5/20% in the back only...
I get pulled over at least twice a month the way it is....

Cut's down on headlight glare at night and REALLY cuts down on glare in the rain!
It (suprisingly) has little effect on my distance of sight, at night.
Also, I have not had to armorall my dash in over a year...never dries out!

Ah what the ****, I'll post more pics. when I'm finished tinting the headlights. Excuse the stupid *** stickers, I don't know why I put them on there, but I took them off after about a week of having them. The center caps on the wheels are painted now and the tails have already been tinted as well, so this pic id not the best depiction of what the car looks like right now.

If I had a nickel for everytime I heard that, lol. I really wanna do it, but I wanna make sure I do it right the first time and the $$ is what is preventing me. I wanna get the eibach pro-kit... just a minor 1" drop. I'm also not sure about everything that has to be done for a proper drop. Springs and a camber kit, and I dunno what a camber kit even looks like, how much it costs etc. Then something about coilovers. Coilovers? Way over my head on that one. I'd like a nice looking drop without going too deep into debt. I'm trying to save money so I can get outta the navy. A hundred here and there is all I'm alloting myself. A drop will be my next major upgrade.

all you need are springs, shocks( a 1" shouldnt need new shocks but its always good to do right the first time) a camber kit is this http://dezod.com/cat_camber_kits.cfm its about $150 for the whole set or so. Full Coilovers are a spring and shock in one and you can adjust them to all different heights but those usually cost over $1000 for a good set lol. You can just get coilovers which go over the shock but yea.....its a lot to know lol...hope that helped

Yeah it helped some. I thought thats were coilovers were.. just dont seem necessary for a 1" drop like I wanted. I'm sure the shocks would be fine I guess for a little bit until I got enough money for new ones... then again I wouldn't know what to look for for new ones. As far as those camber kits... the front one is just a special type of bolt it looks like, no? And the rear one is a little more complicated. Wouldn't know what I would do to install them, and then theres that alignment thingamabob. I'd like to install it myself as I have with everything else. That's why if I don't know how to do it, it will never be done. I'd really like to look into doing this seriously though... something that will really bring it together.

yea you dont need coilovers for just a 1" drop. The rear is a special bolt and the fronts are sorta complicated, just take it to a tire center like STS or firestone or something, thats where i got my camber kit installed and alignment done....after installing the springs and shocks myself

All you (drivlikustoleit) need is the springs and a camber kit. I'm running sportlines on factory shocks/struts and it rides just fine.

Springs are usually about $200 and camber's about $150. Alignment's w/out install is about $70 and I don't know about install...

I have a camber kit for the front if anyone wants it...just pay shipping....
