Alright now after much deliberation and thought heres my master plan... well its not really a master plan its just what all i am planning on this year... and i guess i just need help in deciding the order in which to do them. OK heres my list of ideas.
1) Black Alteeza Grill (completed)
2) Coilovers w/ Camber kit
3) RSX rear sway (completed)
4) Green Microfiber interior (ceiling, and door panels)
---- Decided not to go green, but a flat knit headliner like in the 07 accords. (Installing)
5) TYC's Retro'ed with Valeo's (TYC's installed, HID kit bought, Valeo's searching
)
6) Neuspeed Front upper strut (completed)
7) Retrofit my OEM fogs with projector fogs (Omitted)
---- Decided go with yellow fogs (Installing)
8) Stiffy (Omitted Due to #6)
9) Brembo Blanks w/ Hawk pads (Completed)
10) Green LED Center Console & Gauges/Needles (Gauges Done)
11) OEM Rear wing spoiler (Completed)
12) OEM Full Lip kit (Saving $$)
ok thats all i can think of right now...
Ok now this is what im asking of you all... if you had to reasonably chose some to do without devoting every single paycheck which would you do? Like what order, and preferably why, would you chose. Like right now im thinking of just 3, 11, 1, 4, 10 so far, but im open to all criticism and help
btw heres how my car looks now

I'd do all of the suspension work first. You'll notice it more than anything. If you have the money for coilovers right now, go ahead and do that. If you're kinda on a budget right now, maybe get the strut tower bar for the front and some of your exterior mods.

Sway bars are really just considered the "icing on the cake" for a performance tuned suspension. They are a great mod, but stiffer springs and shocks do way more to reduce body roll

as everyone has said. suspension first and your good to go.
and also number 5....
iono about the icing on the cake part, swaybars are really important suspension components that affect the balance and turning tendencies of the car...the 21mm rear sway from the late rsx's is a damn good upgrade for our cars even on stock springs and struts, and its not expensive. you'll notice it more on the stock suspension than on more agressive spring/shock combo also.
Sell ur car ... Add it to the money ur gonna spend on those mods ( which hardly make a difference on ur performance) and get urself a used 2002 Rsx Type S ... and tell me if u feel something different in the ride quality

besides i just got a brand new tranny like less than a month ago
for like $50but still what is your answer to my question?
i'd love to, but my car is about to be paid off within the year, plus i like my 7thgen...i would go with a rsx, but they cost too much, thats just more i have to put into it. Besides i really dont like the idea of buyin a used car, like my p's bought me mine used, and that irked me, cause i didnt know what was wrong with it 100% or how it was driven. But yeah, i plan on keepin my civic for a good while.

In that case, go for the Brakes Upgrade first of all... Coz even a stock D17 is capable of high speeds on the highway n stuff ... I dont know how u drive but down here in Miami I hit 90mph every single day like a regular speed limit ... Its just the way people drive here on the turnpike... the first upgrade i did to my car was replacing stock rotors with larger Cross Drilled Brembo Rotors and HKS Pads... Amazingly the pads lasted only 3 months
Then start with the Suspension. I put Springs though and I think the ride isnt bad enuff ... All i need to do now is replace my OEM shocks with KYB's.
Remember The Suspension part might look cheap at first but is a very expensive jobs ... It starts by just like oh Springs are a $100 on ebay
but later on the list continues on and on and on
After u get ur coilovers U will need a camber kit which runs anywhere from $200 to $400 (Rear and Front) ... My advice ... DONT BUY YOUR CAMBER KIT FROM EBAY .... Go to The Tire Rack - Your performance experts for tires and wheels and get it from there .. Almost the same price plus Least chances of camber kit going bad ... I have heard a lot of stories on Ebay ... True its a good place but not everything is good.
keep in mind you will not be paying the regular amount of money for Wheel Alignment ... The dealer wont even touch ur car for wheel alignment so you will be going to these SO CALLED Performance alligners who will charge u an easy $100 for allignment and some S.O.B. might even ask for more if he has to adjust ur Camber kit ...
After the Suspenision ... wait atleast 3 months and drive your car ... dont do the rest of the Ricey stuff for now ... U might experience some stuff related to the suspension and u might need funds ... If evertyhings good for 3 months ... carry on with the rest
Good Luck

and as for alignment, i dont go to the stealership as it is, i have a deal where i get so many alignments a year for like only 200 dollars or so
@ NTBalso what would you consider ricey in my list??
Altezza tail lights are what they are calling ricey for sure...maybe the green interior stuff. Its your car though...don't worry about what others consider rice. Sucks that the cops sweat you guys like that...good luck with your car!

a lot of people have upgraded their brakes to better accomodate bigger wheels, (they are harder to brake) especially 18" or greater. A big brake kit is recommended for wheels of this size...

4) Green Microfiber interior (ceiling, and door panels) [this is the cheapest and takes a long time, get started now, I did mine in-between study sessions over a couple weeks]
2) Coilovers w/ Camber kit [this is a huge improvement- don’t go doing a retrofit until you got your ride height set]
12) OEM Full Lip kit [I like this idea- do it around the time u do your suspension, maybe even before because you don’t want to get too low, and then realize you need to buy new suspension to not fvck up your lips]
5) TYC's Retro'ed with Valeo's [def retro the TYC’s, not many people do it anymore, and you still have a seprate high beam- common, oems aren’t as cool as the TYC’s in my opinion.]
I would only do the strut bar if you felt you needed it after you redid your suspension, it changes handling understreer/oversteer- really assess your driving to figure out what you need.
The projectors in the fogs, sounds like a cool idea, but really… do u need them?
From here I would look at doing the rear sway if the handling suggested.
9) Brembo Blanks w/ Hawk pads [I wouldn’t do this mod, u don’t have extra power u need to slow down]
That leaves the console, stiffy and grille.
I’d prob climb back in the interior and do the LED conversion. Then the stiffy (to realize D17’s can improve from some performance mods out there) and grille.
Rear wing,
why bother, its only added weight.

Rear wing,
https://www.civicforums.com/forums/4...in-around.html
so thats y i ended up buying a swaybar

also, yea u r right, i don't need projector fogs, but like my fog light lens was cracked by a stinking rock, so i was just like well, i might as well, try something new...
also with the wing, i really don't care about weight, im never gonna have a fast civic... too much time, and info that i don't know about. oh well, plus the only ones i like are the oem ones.
i thought that i would have had one already seeing as how i have a ex... but oh well, i didn't ave the alloy rims when i bought it. lol jipped yea i know. Also i would like to thank you for your input
