Wheels/Suspension HELP!!!!
I am about to order a set of 18'' wheels wrapped in a 40 series tire. I am also going to order a camber kit because I plan on lowering it. Here is my dilemma: I want to have all of this installed at the same time so I need to find springs that will NOT rub and give me a 2 finger gap or a lil more. Does anyone have any idea of what spring would be ideal? If you have a similiar setup on ur whip can u post pics so I can get an idea. My biggest fear is getting every installed and then the wheels start to rub.

it depends what the offset of the wheel is and the width of the rim itself. Also what size exactly is the tire? 215/40/18? and you shouldve posted this in the suspension section.

it also depends on the car. do you have a 7th, or an 8th gen like your avatar?? i believe the new civics come with larger wheels, and will handle an 18" wheel with less issues than the 7th gens.
I had Eibach Pro's (1" drop) on 225/40/18 tires 18x7.5 rims without a camber kit with stock everything else and did not rub at all...even when I hit big junk in the road. With this setup I had almost 2 fingers in the back and excatly 2 in the front. Lemme see if I can get the pics posted...they are on my other computer.

Rep Power: 278 yeah here's another vote on the ProKit, it's a good drop... it's about 1.3" drop and you can take your time getting all your components (camber kit and shocks) because you WILL need them eventually.
I have a set of H&R's now and they're 1.3"
And yes, after 1 year of the Prokit my back tires were shot from the neg camber
