on a side note, what kinda hood pins do u have?
is ur OEM latch still attached or does ur hood just pop when u undo those hoodpins?

aerocatch hood pins. OEM latch is still there, but I have to slam the hood hard to get it to latch. And when it does latch, fitment looks terrible.

nah, I don't latch my hood. Also, the few times I have gotten my hood to latch, my hand was directly above the latch, helping it in place.. Nevertheless, I rely on the hood pins alone to keep it shut. Less secure? maybe. I should have gone with the locking ones, but I didn't. Oh well.

i have a CF hood as well, but its on there by the OEM latch. i was thinking of getting hood pins.

I bought the non-locking kind. The locking kind require a key to be able to open the latch. Mine just require the push of a button.
