screw snapped
I picked up my new headlights and tail lights last night in Richmond and I decided to put on my tails today. I was trying to get the new one fit in properly and when I was tightening the screw, one of it snapped off!
I'm so pissed. It looked nice too. They're the LED tails from Anzo USA. Had to take it off and put my OEM back on for now. Tried calling the shop, but I think they're closed on weekends. I hope I can get it fixed or replaced.
I also tried putting on my heads, but the diy guide for removing the front bumper required me to jack up my car. I guess I'll have to wait til my friend is free to do it since I don't have jack. No pun intended.
Waste of $10 buying socket wrenches. On sale at Canadian Tire though so it was still worth it I guess. $20 off.

yep, you dont have to jack up the car to take the bumper off.. and its super easy to do.. takes me less than 3 min lol. and as for the rear, you can use any kind of wrench. you dont need torque wrench on those. but might aswell buy one if you gonna do some DIY install exhaust/ header(which i dont recommend for lx) and all other bunch of stuff.
i have the ex
i got both of these..

anyone have a link to the guide that does not require me to jack up my car for the front bumper? i'll have to do this tomorrow as it's getting dark
what also annoy me is that the tails dont seem like a perfect fit like the OEM. i saw a minor gap somewhere between the quarterpanel and the tails. oh yeah that was why i was tightening it so hard. i'm hoping it has something to do with the fact that my driver side rear wheel well has been crashed/scrapped into and my rear bumper is shifted. i guess i'll leave the tails til i get my car repaired.

dude just do the diy normally but just dont use jacks. like the stupid plastic pop n' lock things are all around the bumper, and there are 4 screws to let go then thats it. pull the bumper at the sides and it just pops off. done and done. but yeah, just get out there under your car and look for the plastic things to pop off
4 on top 4 under and then 4 screws, (1 in fender well, 1 under car per side)
hope this helps

well this is what happened. i got the bumper off, but i dont have all the tools so i cant get the new headlight on properly. only tried passenger side, i wanted to be able to drive my car still. bumper isnt completely screwed on. gonna ask friend to help me instead.
there were some clips missing and both screws under the car weren't there. most of the clips were weathered and i snapped a few by accident (still works though) and broke 1 completely. gonna see if i can pick up some new ones at honda.
i think the missing stuff is from the previous owner of my car. that lying son of a *. he said the car was clean no damage.

well it's my car and i am still going to put it on whether you like it or not
as for the sockets.. i think i've got the right one. the problem is reaching in. a lot of things are in the way. i still havent figured out how to get behind all that with the wrench. whats that circular thingy on the driver side? it's on some kind of tiny spring.
