redrocket600 has a spectacular aura about

BOH, now what about fogs????

I JUST finished blacking out my headlights but now the fogs look goofy as hell. I was looking at them and they don't seem like they come apart like the headlights do...does anyone know if they do??? I want to get them painted up to match but...If they don't come apart what do I do???...Tint??

The fogs have been covered?? I guess I'll search but yeah, grille is home made...

Ummm...just tried heating the fog up and prying it apart and it cracked in half so....i guess they don't just pry apart.....

loosha808 is an unknown quantity at this point

what kind of fogs did you buy? ebay or oem? if they were ebay then you should have been able to pry them apart without heating them up. the hardest part of the process is painting the lights. i made a thread awhile back in the diy section i think. goodluck.

When I was searching I found that you did your fogs so I though, well...I should be able to do mine. WRONG! I have factory but no worries, ebay fogs are DAMN CHEAP! So I guess I'll be buying them and painting!

Is the custom grill JUST the lower grill molding with mesh attached? or did you use the other parts of the coupe grill for the install...

My thread on my grille

I did the upper and lower grille and for the upper, chopped the factory mesh.

Why would you want to blackout your fogs?? I'd say tint spray them yellow and throw in some yellow bulbs...

I did mine because it actually matches better with black housing headlights. I got some yellow bulbs so it's still pretty bright.

Red/Black/and polished/silver are the only three colors that are going to be on my car. And I really don't like the look of the yellow tint aside from that. I will be putting yellow bulbs in but that is all....
