sound like a deal?
well when i went to my buddies shop to pick up my new motor the other day, i saw a little gem sittin in the back of the parts yard. so i went back by today and checked it out. a '90 da9 teg with an ls b18c1. the car is missing both fenders, front bumper, and the hood. i figured he was gonna let it rot til rapture so i asked him what he would take for it. he told me to shoot him an offer but i couldnt. i knew my price would be higher than his and i would screw myself. so we looked up the missing body parts in a parts catalog and he came to the final price of $400. the motor runs great and the car will drive, just missing some body parts. im not a big wealth of knowledge on the 1st or 2nd gen tegs, so does anyone here think its worth it?

Rep Power: 256 i knew the motor would be worth $400. thats what i paid for my d17a2. i just dont see there being a vast market for the 2nd gen teg as far as suspension and such. i dont want to buy the car for the motor because he has a ton of b and h series mills laying around everywhere. i just dont have anything to put them in. i want a car that will make a worth while project instead of dumping all my bank in my 7th gen.
hell yea it's worth it.... The head itself is worth that much, BTW... its the most universal motor, B Series man..... you can do so much **** with it, i kinda wish i still had my 2nd gen integra, but i wanted a newer car. Rep Power: 0 I wish I still had my 98" GS-R but I guess some theaves wanted it more than I did. Oh ya, and my 95 hatch! I made money on both cars and bought my 01" EX new. I was young at the time too.

Rep Power: 256 hes got a 96 hatch but he wants 4 grand and its an auto. im going to get the teg but im in the middle of picking up another project car, a turbo supra. but it has a parts only title and i could never register it. but its free.
