Another fortunate bastard. JK I'm just very jealous. Nice ride man. I wasn't feeling the 8th gens but they are starting to grow on me. I wonder what's faster though an 8th gen SI or the RSX type S? Anyone know?

Rep Power: 321 i believe TOV or edmunds did a comparison awhile back. The Type S is quicker on the 1/4 miles because its around 30lbs lighter, but the Si handles better on the track because of the more refined suspension.

the quarter mile time for a type s is 15sec flat while the Si is 15.1sec... so it's really a driver's game...

Rep Power: 0 thats a nice color. how is the throttle on it? a friend of mine at the honda dealership here said he test drove one and didn't really like it that much since it has that drive by wire type throttle and he said you couldn't rev match on downshifts. just kind of curious on what others have to say on it because overall i really like the 8thgens. good luck with it man!

Rep Power: 0 The revs used to hang for a fraction of a second when you put the clutch in but it's all a matter of getting used to it. I got it reflased so mine doenst have the rev hang anymore. Either way i didnt really notice a big difference before and after the reflash.

Rep Power: 282 I wonder how many members we've lost that have upgraded rides? It was weird last night I was riding behind this Evo and I was just pretending to be him at the moment wishing I had that car. Then later I looked at my car parked looking really sexy and I said to myself in all honesty. I love my civic. As much as I crave more hp that car has been really good to me with no problems. The only problems I've had was by improperly installing or putting cheap parts on it which I had to replace or fix. I remember a quote someone had a while back it was something like. "A civic is like that old gf you had, when you were with her you wanted better but after she was gone you realized she was the best thing you ever had." There is truth to that statement IMO.

Rep Power: 0 i have to agree with ronaldo9's quote, alot of times i see a few supras, evo's, z's and i wish i had one but then i see my civey and i think of all the work i've put into it and then i remember that its so damn close to bein paid for so thats one less bill and i can use that money to work on it more. hopefully after basic and tech school i can get some money up and do a swap. plus if i had an evo or a z then that would put me in alot of trouble.

I live in in an apt overlooking an ally and see all these gutter mf'ers, its horrible, I check on my car down in the parking garage everytime I come back to see if someone smashed my window yet, or gave my bumpers some crash-rash from a bad park job. Speaking of crackheads, this dude ditched some drugs when the cops came by... I guess it was a bad thing to do, but I went down and told the cop where to look, the other day he pointed up at me when I was hanging out on my balcony.. "i'ma kick yo ***" shoots! I duck around the other side of the building everytime i need to take my car out.... no chances!
