none...but you cant have a CF hood right away. i have my oem hood on right now till i can break in hte dampers some. when i put them on with the CF hood...there was some scary noises. so i grabbe the old oem one, put it on and viola! mainly you have to only use the Metal hood, and the hood will be a little raised up since the adaptor plate raise the hood some to fit the damper snug against the fender.

you CAN...but the i didnt bother. the instructions say to leave it. but i know this hood aint going to drop without help!

im gonna give it a week or soo...i wanna try and get some of the oxidation of the CF hood first too!
