EP3 Cluster, Radio and dash lights in my ES1 (full Amber interior)
I put a Civic Si EP3 cluster in my car along with the radio (but I kept the lx face on the radio so it matched the dash) and I put the EP3 temp/fan/vent control faces in so now the whole interior is amber. Every wire for the cluster had to be repined but it wasn’t to hard with a wiring diagram. I am going to make a DIY for the cluster. What do you guys think?

only the 99-00 civic Si has amber bulbs the 02-05 Si has the same bulbs as the non Si The amber comes from the Face. the faces are about $3-4 each, from honda.

lol i once had a coupe amber dash, all i did was spend $5 and a few hours to put red tint film behind the gauges and dash lights. props for all the work and $ you spent, but really there was no need. and that cluster looks ugly.
now i have orange LED dash and the new style coupe cluster. much better than those dim stock lights

yeah i want to know the same thing whether you had to make a custom bezel or not. I don't like the 03+ clusters because they have so many colors. I like the ep3 cluster, simple, clean and one color.

Don't be discouraged, if you like the results and don't mind the time/effort spent then it was worth it even if it does look just like the stock coupe.

Yea man you might as well not even post any changes having to do with clusters or lights cause gearbox has done it, got tired of it, changed back to stock, changed it to something way cooler than yours, and has had time to laugh at your futile attempts at a mod.

I personally like the 03-05 cluster... I'm looking to buy a manual cluster to swap into my EM2 if anyone knows if one's for sale anywhere. I think there's a DIY somewhere. The dealership will reflash the new cluster with the correct mileage, correct?

Is there any way to get the actual mileage from the ECU to the cluster? I thought there was...
And no, it's not hard at all if you know how to use a soldering iron and have the time. YOu just need a handful of 3mm 10,00MCD LED's and a bunch of 620 ohm resistors

nobody will reflash the cluster, and the ones who have the 10,000 dollar machine to do it are too scared. they said they cant do it for legal reasons.
the less time you spend on the dash, the worse it will look. you cant just replace the bulbs, they point inwards and leds do not have much side light. just open it up and put some leds in there. will turn out much better and lighting will be even. they should outlast your car if you use the proper resistors and wiring.
