Hey guys i finally got rid of my 01 civic. and it was time i had a horrible intrest rate i owed 8,000 on my 01 civic with 85,000 miles. I ended up financing an 06 scion tc super white 5spd...with a 60months/60,ooo miles warranty niceeee. the car feels a lot faster than my civic it gets their a lot quicker lol. Although with my civic i would get a few more looks. Anyways thanks for everything all the help...ill post pics of the scion lata on

congrats man!. cause thats the car i've been looking at to get. I wanted a white or silver Tc. maybe a blue one. can you tell me how much "out the door" it costed you and how much a month is it for you aswell? thanks
hey johnold i owed 8,000 on my civic but i was shown that my car was repainted by the last dealership, most likely because of an accident. The whole car was repainted and plus i had lowered it very low and i had a two tone paintjob. they gave me $5,ooo for my car. so that means im left with $3,000 on top of the $18,000 the scion cost me....scion was used but very little. i got a 60 month warranty that costs $2,000 but they gave it to me for $200 the total.....$23,000...with a 9.2 intrest rate....only thing saving me is $160 a month insurance.....a month its $380 remember the $3,000 on civic

Rep Power: 286 Nice...my sister should have picked up her Black Cherry Pearl tC on wed. I think she got away right at 20grand, but its brand new, and the dealer is also installing window tint on top of the options.
I'm actually jealous of her car now, since I didn't like her old Saturn.

Rep Power: 0 23,000 is alot of money for one of those cars. i know that i shouldn't get a TC for that much. i've only had my 02 Ex for a year now and yeah i still owe 8,000. i pay 225 monthly for my Ex with a 7.5 interest rate. but i have a loan with my bank. so i pay the back back. i don't know if that makes any difference. sometimes i feel as if i SHOULD just keep my civic and stop trying to get rid of it when it's a damn good car. however, i DO wanna re-paint it. THE SAME COLOR. just wanna get a newer look and paint on the car. it's got it's little dimple dents and whatnot. but i feel like i'd really like to re-paint it. JUST THE OUTSIDE. (exterior). and have the dents and imperfections fixed aswell. my engine bay looks nice a clean and well maint. it's just the damn exterior of the car that bothers me. im a perfectionist. and i don't like having dents or scratches or whatever on my beloved car. i just don't know sometimes about whether or not to KEEP my car or TRADE it in. i don't know if i'm ready to go from 8,800 dollars to like 18,500 or even 20,000 dollars. and go from 225 a month to like maybe 330 or 350. thats just too much man.

the car is way faster than my previous civic just tonight i was messing around with this integra it was dropped and had exhaust....the ones with round headlights.....I never race since i dont want tickets and its retarded but i wanted to see how fast it really is if i could beat him and i did i smoked him pretty bad....in my civic this definately wouldnt happen....what scared the crap out of me was when i passed him i happened to look down i was at 120mph....(i felt soooo stupid like what was the point of that)....could it have been his govt limit that kicked in??

Rep Power: 306 If the TC had been out in 01. I most likely would have gotten that. Congrats on a great car but personally, I would have kept the vic and saved up for a real cports car.
First mod should be a drop, them tC's look nice slammed.

Can you really tell that much of a difference or does it just feel faster. The 0-60 on a Tc is 7.5 and on a civic ex is 7.9. I wouldn't think you would notice .4 very much.

nice upgrade.... something more comfortable with a better interior and also something that isn't made out of sheet metal? =) lol... i nearly sold my civic at one point. tC's definately a nice car but it will be a shame if you don't get a TRD Supercharger for that thing.
