well...through the constant hassle of GA St. Patrol and other law enforcement around here. should i take off the tint...completely or get the window redone lighter...here's a pic to evaluate with.

is that light even worth a $125? i mean..i want a dark tint but i dont want to be hassled. my brother has had 15% on his lancer for 2 years strong with no ticket of any sort. and my friend Johnny has 20% all-around on his civic, but his car is white. so it might look darker, on a light colored car. would 15% be a car-target?

i know someone who has 30% tint on his silver car and he got pulled over 2 times in one month for it...i have like 60% on mine now lol but i plan on going down to 30 or 35%

i really dont want to be hassled for it either, i cant afford tickets

i have 20% on my silver coupe and havent been pulled over for my tint yet (knock on wood)...however i got pulled over for 50MPH in a 30MPH zone and the police officer gave me a repair order along with my ticket...i did get out of this and the officer ripped up the tickets becuase my dad and brother are both police officers so that helps

i have 10% and get stopped alot, the black interior makes it appear darker. leave the back dark and lighten up the fronts, to like 25-30ish, here in NY the fronts arent allowed to be tinted. but most cops are cool with it. but i get stopped alot for it cause cops by me are bored and see a hooked up car so have to stop it lol.

i got 35% and police always tells me to take it off ... i never did i just bought 2 front door glass and i show them and put the tinted one back LOL hwdp

i had 5% all around. there are only certain towns around me that actually gave a **** and busted my *****. since im due for inspection and im not gona pass with them, i took off the fronts. its true, having a dark interior makes it look alot darker. stupid new jersey...

i never thought of it that way. ill probably try like 15% or 20%. with a black car itll look lighter than let say a red or white would. thanks for the help. i know i usually get away with city or couty, but i was shocked to get warned by GSP.

I had 35% all the way around on my civic but I got pulled over and changed the front two windows to the stock 50% in VA. It took a few months before I got the ticket. It was one of those days where everyones tint looks darker. When its kind of hazy outside. The shop changed the tint for free and i got off of the ticket in court.

hrmm...so it's pretty much the COP, and how he feels towards your car, and whether or not to be picky and give the HONDA the ticket since he feels if we can afford, mods....then we can pay a ticket. i mean i saw a city po-po...and i couldnt see anything at all....around he/her car!
gotta love a law they enforce when they are breaking it!...i mean practice what you preach!!!!

if i didnt have tint or had to get mine redone i would go with no tint.. such a clean look.

It might get a little hotter in the car but not much and you get used to it... and as far as your fabrics, leather wearing out and discoloring just take care of them and treat them. The only downside is no privacy when your wit your booty call you dont want to be seen wit lol

I have 15% on my sides and 5% with no hassles from anyone, and my interior is dark too so it makes it even darker. Just go with 20%, should be safe and still dark.

Also, tip, driving during the day, roll your windows down if you see a cop, i do that sometimes at night, hell i'll even open put back my moon roof to allow more light in. Just a few tips.

i have 32% on mine.. definately not dark enough during the day but i dont get hasseled though..
