Question Attn: All mbrs with Type R Grill...Question
How much did you guys pay to just paint the lip of the grill? Also.. did you clear coat the whole thing (the part you leave black too)?

I'm going to do some hunting on prices just wanting to get an idea of high and low.

I paid about $15. I got masking tape, color matched spray paint (Duplicolor) and some truck/suv clear coat (very tough stuff). Did my eyelids at the same time too.

Then I hung a tarp the night before, sprayed water into the air to get the dust out, and added lights. Next day I painted the lip and it worked out perfectly.

I shine it up every wash though...
