Color issues with Rays Engineering Lug Nuts
I have a red car. I was wondering if anyone had pictures of the red lug nuts on any 7thgen. It would help me decide whether or not to get them.

I have silver rims and a red car. You can check my gallery to see my car. I would rather have silver lug nuts than black, blue, or red. Rays only makes those colors though. Are there other lug nuts out there of comparable weight? I think the rays are .08oz each.

I've got black regular sized Rays Lugs on my SSR's.. Love'em... Wanted colored till I found out about the fading.... Maybe some titanium colored 5 ZIGEN lugs if anything else for me or some extended black Rays Lugs..... Here's a pic...

Heres a for sale forum on Honda Tech with pretty much all the lightweight pimp lugs you could want....

Meh, given our 115 hp civics I think dieting would help with weight more than lugnuts haha. Plus they are right next to the center of rotation so I don't think the difference that they make in trying to move their weight over regular lugnuts would be noticable. Yeah they do look nice though. But as I understand it, they're pretty costly? Also, it doesn't even look like there is anything special about the lug locks/keys. They don't look very unique in terms of ability to remove them from the wheel. Correct me if I'm wrong.
I'm not bashing your choices, I just never really thought there was a good reason for me to buy those things.

Honestly there isn't it was just something different to have, I have only seen them on one other car in San Antonio so that keeps me happy... but yes they are expensive for lugs

Armieo - Its just a cool factor for me.... I love being able to say I have Rays Lugs... Oh and they look a hole lot better than stocky lugs... Oh and they do have a special key that just by looking at them is not apparent but it is added security that I like to have especially with the rims on my ride....So hey to each his own... Some buy ugly *** neons or altezza lights I waist my money on expensive things like lugs that nobody will notice but I'll know I have them...
they'll will fade and go pink over time. lol.. this is my second set. its not on a civic but same ****.

LOL I have cheap auto parts store chrome lug nuts. They look fine with my wheels, and match the wheel lock.
Sorry to hear anyone is having trouble with these, especially since they can be so expensive.
(I paid less than $25 for 16 nuts. Now I only use 12 after I got the locks a week later.)
I should also mention that after the countless times they have been removed (winter, rotation, etc.) they still have not lost any chrome plating, which is amazing for the cheapness.

The lugs I have are black so I really dont see what color they could fade too?? I've had them for a while also and have had no problems with fading....
DDragon7 - Look at this pick.. You see the silver looking lug in the pic well its sized different and will not fit a conventional socket and has a groove cut into it that lock fits which makes it a lock bolt...
