midwest rep! photoshoot of my ride... (14 pics)
so yea it took awhile for me to get used to my new digi, so i took some shots this past week. im not a photographer so some of my shot angles may be retarded.. enjoy and let me know what you think... bomex sideskirts and dual exhaust set up in a couple weeks..

Rep Power: 0 lol thanks for the feedback guys.. i guess the tails and the lids are a "love it or hate it" thing. i personally like em, and i get alot of props from the locals.. im just trying to be somewhat original and stir away from the jdm bandwagon and stuff.

Rep Power: 0 well basically, what i meant by "jdm bandwagon" was everybody doing the SAME thing. i mean theres nothing wrong with it, i just prefer doing things a lil different than everyone would want.
yea my tinted tails and eyelids are different, but that is simply because i was never fond of the 7thgen, especially the triangular design of the tails so i made it to my liking.
damn though... bunch of haterrrs! just playing.. i DID ask for your opinions

Rep Power: 254 well ehhhh to be honest...it seems like u got some negatives about the eyelids & tails, but I like the fact that u tried something different. Personally I think if I was to see ur car in person prefferably at night. Your car would just look amazing. Well I am a big fan of the triangle look because it's in a class by itself and unque compare to other crap i've seen "cough focus" cough cough...so i'd say give us a sexy shot of ur car at night with the lights on and prove some of us wrong.
well maybe if the eye lids were for a 04+ but you can clearly see that they are for the 01-03 because of how they line up with the hood. its like puttin g alip on frm a different car" it kinda fits" but in reality you can clearly see that they are far from lining up correctly. maybe use those eye lids to make your own out of fiberglass that line up better. that would be more original than sticking something on the car that doesnt line up properly

Rep Power: 351 I'll skip over mentioning the eyelids and tails since everybody has mentioned this already, and go straight to saying that I think the Bomex sides you have planned will be too aggressive for your front lip and lack of rear lip.

Rep Power: 0 haha thanks again everyone. i was going to have a local audioshop (specializes in fiberglassing too) do custom eyelids, but i didnt have the money nor the ability to drive without headlights for a week. so i simply went with the 03 eyelids, they do infact not line up however, the majority of non-7thgeners cannot tell the differece since its only about a half inch short.
as for the tails, they line up perfectly with the body line on the side. however they dont quite line up with the trunk line.. the line is perfectly straight though (examined by local members).
as for the night shots, i did make a thread not to long ago, but im a noob at cameras and they came up dark.. ill post up the link, or you can just search my posts. :P the car looks different at night because of the eyelids and the tails.. doesnt even look like a civic.. well actually it still does but i like it.
