Rep Power: 311 ef9 love (my project car) 56k maybe
i bought this for 300 bucks. im building it up for auto x and drag. im doing a ls/vtec swap in it with hopefully a b16 tranny currently i have a b18b1 block with type r pistons (can u say high compression N/A screamer?) well onto the pics
any thoughts opinions comments critiques what ever lets hear em
the whole reason behind this project is b/c K20's are jsut to damn expensive
project poor man heh trying to do this for under 1500 bucks but ill prolly spend alot more lol oh yeah her name is claire lol
oh yeah for looks wise. she is being treated to a fresh coat of flat black b4 it hits the roads. some rota slips for my street tires and some dark tint. maybe some jdm goodies if i can get my hands on some

Rep Power: 257 I had one of those with a d16z6 with wiseco 20 over pistons, eagle rods, comp stage 2 cam....and t3 60/48. It was alot of fun building up the motor and putting it all together....someone offered me 2000 for all of it before i got to drive it so i took and now im turboing the 04 in stead.

Rep Power: 0 nice, i'm in the same boat as you, for the amount people spend on a stock k20 swap or turbo, you can get a pretty nice EF outta the deal with a built engine and suspension...i got an EF also (crx though) I would try and turn into this:

Rep Power: 285 do type r bottom end, with civic type r cylinder head, it ups the compression compared to a stock itr and has a slightly better valvetrain. these are things ive heard mwhaaha
but ye its true. and good luck, i wanted to do this same project pretty much but i have no use for it. and you may want to look more into what your doing with it, building a car for autox and building a drag car is not the same.

Rep Power: 259 to make it run great and look good your budget is gonna hafta be more than 1500---i'd say go w/ the ls/vtec swap. do a minor build. work on the paint and interior and get some nice rims. good luck with whatever you do man.
