Majin, Good for you. You bought an exhaust b/c you liked it. Big deal what it says on the box. It will look good, and you saved yourself some money by not buying a "BIG name brand"

Some others:
Rota C8's ---------> Mugen MF8's
Rota C10's --------> Mugen MF10's
Rota JMAGS (or whatever they're called) ------> Mugen M7's
Guess not everyone's aware that Rota makes all of these knockoffs. A lot of people, especially on H-T and JDMcivic.com get plenty of heat for sporting Rotas.

They are made using different manufacturing processes to cut costs.

I loved my megan catback (same one ur getting) if it wasnt so loud on the interstate then i would probably still have it. but now that im 3hrs from home at school i wouldnt want to take all those drives w/ a loud exhaust. it did sound VERY nice on the inside, but slightly rice on the outside (not like a bumble bee) but theres no way around hearing some of the sound a 4cyl makes with a megaphone. maybe the name brands are slightly better at making a deeper sound, I dunno.

to get some extra torque put a box wrench on your ratchet handle and the nuts should come off. Sorry my digi is in the bahamas right now so I used the scanner to give you an idea.

well my dad came at like 930. so i held the exhaust while he used the ratchet and damn it was so easy. it took a few hours cause he had other things to do and of course, i am **** about my mods. so i took forever on purpose. so bout 2-3 hours to make it perfect.
my dad put in the resonator and it sounded like **** cause it was clanging in the canister. i thought something was wrong. so i took it out, O MAN! that **** is sooo clear and smooth. and loud. my dad was like "thats TOO loud" and i wanted another test run and he said "not tonight, you will wake up all the neighboors again" hahahahaha

We forgot to mention that knock off companies only copy the design.

Well...only way I can put it is to compare Nike sneakers and PayLess Shoe's copy of them.
The PayLess sneakers may last as long or longer than the Nike's or they may crap out on you within a matter of weeks.
Its cheap enough that you can take a gamble on them.
Eventually when these knock-off brands are a bit more established people forget how they started out and refer to the brand as an original.
I'm willing to bet theres people out there who think Spoons are knock-offs of Rotas.
MajinB, you did buy a really nice exhaust and in no way bashing you for your choice.
Just informing the uninformed.
Oh, I see. How different are the forged and cast processes, in terms other than weight? I really don't car emuch for weight since I don't wanna race my car or anything.
So, knock offs, for example, bend easier if I accidentally go through hole on the road or something?
Hey Boris, you still owe me the pictrues of the install. And PLEASE try to get an audio clip/movie clip with audio, please! I wanna listen to that baby.

i don't really care.
Could be worse though. Could have been an APC sticker.
APC sticker! HahahaMan, thanks for the pics. Appreciated.
Looks nice, after all. How is the sound at WOT? I want an exhaust but am afraid I'd get a lot of excessive noise tickets... and they're $100 each. I don't want to pay more than what the exhaust costs.

There is gl@ss in my @SS...
