Rep Power: 292 For those who may have forgot or wherent around when it happend
there is a loooong story behind the car.... long story short had brought car to diff. shop, shop shut down dissappeared with car for 3-4 months, recovered by cops in this condition ...
Now as for all the body work, paint, install of Carbon fiber dash, center console, steering column, ssbc brake kit, chamber kit, pretty much everything
its costing 13gs.
The paint was expensive though, it takes 8 coats of paint before clear.
2 - silver base
2- white base
4 - orange base
i was told that just for the color was $550 a gallon and it took a pint just to do the trunk lid and the trunk jams.... anyway...
ive posted this before, am i stupid for spending that much money on a SLOW a$$, 4 year old car ? of course i am ! hahaha BUT i started something and i had to finish it. If your asking about motor swap or turbo, well ive had a turbo kit allready and sold it to pay for part of the repairs... I am getting another kit prob. the end of april.
big difference huh ...LMAO

Rep Power: 0 I remember that thread about the shop that closed and the car dissapearing, but didn't know that it was your car!
WOW, what a turn-around!! Glad to see that you've got things back on track. I am curious, are going to keep the G35 lights, or so somthing different? They seem to flow okay, suprisingly. New G35's have projectors though.

Rep Power: 292 Yeah it prob. is the most expensive civic in the state of NY.. ahahhahaha
i prob. had put 7 grand into it before with the turbo kit, 5 sets of rims, 4 sets of seats, 3 systems, 2 body kits .. plus the 16g i bought the car for plus this 13.... i shoulda just bought a bmw or g35
but you live and learn hahahhaha
ohh the rims are deff. being changed those rims are going to be gone, just on there so if they got messed up it didnt matter.. i got a set of armano reactions 19".. those are just temporary for now until i can get some real volks or something.
no, i just going back to civic headlights and tailights...
its deff. coming together...
yeah I HUUUUGE WASTE of money.. but it was fun, my wife is into it as much as i am so it was a cool hobby for us to do together....
i mean out of the 13 it didnt all come out of pocket, well it did 1 way or another BUT i got 4g from the shop that f*cked it up, sold the turbo and some other stuff.. so its costing out of pocket right now about 6grand.

Rep Power: 0 I'm a little sad that you didn't stick with some wild headlights, like the G35 ones, or maybe a set of BMW headlights... sometimes those chops look out of place, but sometimes they can look great and really make people stop and try to figure out WTF kind of car it really is!
I can't wait to see it done as well. Hopefully you still finish it off with some high quality xenon projectors.
