okay, for future referrence...the bolt for the pulley does not come off easy at all. it says to use a breaker bar and a chain wrench and to use a good amount of force. ummmm yea, you cannot do it with a breaker bar nor can you do it with a 135psi compressor either. i don't know WTF to do!
okay here is what i did when I changed my timing belt. go to your local home depot and buy a 2inch pipe that is about 3 to 4 feet long. lock the pully with the chain wrench and use the breaker bar with the pipe that will give you the leverage to break it loose. I had to use all of my weight and really pull on the pipe and it broke free with no problem. Try that the pipe cost me about 5 bucks. I use the same thing for the axle nut on my old crx works like a charm.

i tried that myself and the guy who helped me is like friggin MaGyver and we tried everything we had at our disposal! the braker bar, adding a pipe as an extension to get more leverage, the air compressor thing...nothing worked. we even sprayed tons of PB Blaster on it to get it to it loose and nothing! and PB Blaster is a an amazing product too!! i am thinking i may have to take it to a ma & pa shop and have them brake it off and then tighten it back on a bit.
heh good luck.
you need a crazy breaker bar and a LONG pipe ... use all of your weigh and get some big/strong/fat to do it.
my friend used a 3/4 drive breaker bar with his as well as his greddy exhaust pipe as leverage haha.
or you could always rent a 600 psi air compressor ... should work just fine ;P
