Pic's of the ride (K-Swap)...
The final cost was roughly $8k. The motor (K20a2 w/Type-R LSD), has 6,xxx miles on it, so that is what bumped up the price a little higher than average. I cannot give enough credit to the shop that performed this swap (JH Advanced Performance), I was pesimistic about the shop due to the size, but they proved me wrong.

Is the engine stock or what is done? K-pro? That is one beefy strut bar too. Great swap. How long did it take them to do the swap?

I will be at the meet for sure! Nothing will hold me from the meet...it will most likely be my car, an S2K, an Evo VIII and IX, and MAYBE a crazy swapped Acura CL(under construction)...
As for the tuning of the swap, at the moment I am running a PRC (Type-R) ECU only to enable the car to run. Tomorrow afternoon I should have the PRB (Type-S) ECU flashed to my key, and then I will run the stock ECU until I can afford K-Pro. K-swaps are mighty hefty in price.
Finally, as for the stock WRX....he can have the straight line all he/she wants because the second one of those steps onto a track/touge with me, its all down-hill for the WRX/STi...the car isn't being built/tuned for straight line what-so-ever, more a track/circuit/touge car....so this goes out to all the "faster" cars on a straight...
....see you on the track!

....see you on the track! Thanks guys again for all the positive feedback!!! Like I've said a million times, JH Advanced Performance knows what they are doing. They are the only reason the swap turned out so clean.
drew22mader: Wow! Clean car comment from first place on "mild member's choice" is an honor, haha. Your car is extremely nice with the kit, although I'm sure you've heard that ALOT.
BlackLX, sweeeet ride man, if you weren't East Coast it would be sick to roll together. Keep it clean, Keep it simple.

About the stock WRX beating a swapped K civic I dont know about that. All I had done was a K20A2 with TB and exhaust and I would beat srt-4 running a 14.3 at the track. He was quite mad. And so a wrx doing a 14.8 stock wasnt much of a problem. Maybe from some of the weight reduction or bfgoodrich tires, I had a little help but the swaps are WELL worth the money and effort.

now put a CAI on it, race header, exhaust and kpor and it will be just mean.. or you can throw a little boost on there and bee a real sleeper
I'm going to install the stock box with a drop in filter(throttle response reasons), I already have the Toda Header on there, I have Apex-i GT Spec Exhaust, and K-pro is on the way after my car is completely stripped and caged for next year's race season.....Honda Challenge baby H1 category!!!

There is gl@ss in my @SS...
