not confident CAI will fit, need some advice
ok, so i just installed a strut bar, and i wanted to get a CAI for my car. but ive run into 2 problems.
1. i think the CAI will raise too high and run into the strut bar, unless it sticks within the same hights as the stock filter box.
2. it seems like a wierd shape for the CAI in this picture. looks like it would wrap around infront of the engine or something wierd like that. any thoughts? i dont have the cash for a big name brand. and had a good experience when i got a no name CAI for my old GSR.
any suggestions?

if you get an injen CAI it should fit because injen ones dont raise up off the intake manifold very high... i think... dont quote me on that one. i know for a fact AEM or any of the ones shaped like it wont fit a normal strut bar unless its neuspeed.
The intake will go much higher than stock airbox. Neuspeed is the way to go. I got mine for $110 from www.namotorsports.net
. It's a better designed strut bar too.

i also had the ractive one on and it rattled against my cai, injen is the only one that wont hit the strut bar cause its flat at the top. Neuspeed and dc sports are the only strut bars that will fit with a cai.
Yeah I just noticed in the suspension faq that DC and Neuspeed both fit with intakes, but how come the dc sports website says that it does not have any strut bars that fit a civic?
I already have my neuspeed, but I was just curious what the dc sports looked like.
