yes or no? aftermarket spoiler type sunroof

I have wished I had the ex so I would have the stock sunroof, so I asked honda to put in a stock sunroof, they said they can't, so the one I am considering is the spoiler type sunroof, it slides back on top of the opening onto your roof, it looks sporty ...I saw one on an acura the other day and it looked good. The inside roof (like stock ex's have) would fit on our civics. So , yea or no for the sunroof for my vic...cost is $975.00

If you are set on getting a sunroof that is a good style, but I think you could find a better place for that much money

I use my sunroof all the time. I angle it up to get a little airflow since I never put the windows down.

Honda can't install the stock sunroof because the roof of the ex has a water drainage system.

That sounds like a lot of money to get that installed... I'd get an awesome custom paint job or something... I would be worried about it leaking too. Any car that didn't come with a sunroof probably shouldn't have one. Even cars made with sunroofs have leaking problems sometimes.

wanna trade? i hate the moonroof. the tint doesn't match my side windows, its squeaky, smelly (when i grease it), and very noisy even with the shade thing on. you still want one? oh yea and it weighs a ton

not having a sunroof is no loss.. but 900$ is. get something that you can actually notice thats 900$ like a lipkit or bodykit or some nice rims.. thats my opinion. hope that helps.

it sounds to be like you don't have a sunroof, and you want them to cut your roof open and put in a sunroof? from all i know, that's pretty bad. really cuts down on the rigidity of the car. i have a friend who had one cut into his celica, and it's a piece of ****. from what i know, and from what it sounds like here, i'd say save your money

Like everyone has said, dont bother... If you want a sunroof, just wait until you get another car that came with one originally. If you really want one.. do a custom targa top
